If you receive this scary message, “print spooler service is not running” before you remove all of the printer drivers or reimage your computer, please do the following:

Solution:
1) Go to: C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete any files you see.
2) Restart your computer or restart the Print Spooler Service That should take care of the problem. If you are trying to print a PDF file, try recreating the file.
